A review on sensory perception for dexterous robotic manipulation

Sensory perception for dexterous robotic hands is an active research area and recent progress in robotics. Effective manipulation requires to accurately feedback their state or perceive the surrounding environment. This article reviews state-of-the-art of sensory manipulation. Two types sensors, such as intrinsic extrinsic are introduced according function layout hands. These sensors provide rich information a hand, which contains posture, contact objects, physical Then, comprehensive analysis methods including planning-level, control-level, learning-level perceptions presented.
